This site uses no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies. Fonts are served from this domain, so visiting the site does not share your information with any third party.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp, user-agent) for the purpose of operating the service and detecting abuse. We do not use these logs for analytics or profiling.
If you contact us
When you email us at hello@syncerauk.com, we receive whatever you send — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use Google Workspace for our email; messages are kept for up to 12 months after our last reply, then deleted.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you.
If you apply for a job
Job applications are submitted and managed through Deputy, our applicant and workforce management system. When you apply, you provide a CV and a short video pitch, along with your contact details and basic application data.
Where it’s stored:
- Deputy — your candidate record, application status, video pitch, and a copy of your CV.
- Google Drive — a working copy of your CV, kept alongside Deputy for ease of review.
Both are GDPR-compliant providers under appropriate safeguards. We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA except to these processors.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in assessing candidates and, where appropriate, taking steps to enter into an employment contract.
How long we keep it:
- Unsuccessful applications — up to 12 months, in case a suitable role opens (or sooner if you ask).
- Successful applications — retained as part of your employee record for the periods required by the Portuguese tax authority and labour law.
